Israeli violations during 2021

In observing the Israeli aggressions, crimes, and violations against our people over the past year 2021 it has been confirmed that a significant and critical increase in the levels of comprehensive Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people, their land, property and holy sites. 2,800 Palestinians arrests occurred in the city of Jerusalem during the past year, the approval of the construction of 12,000 new settlement units and the demolition of 177 buildings, 357 martyrs and female martyrs with a high rate of child and female martyrs during the year 2021, 69 children were martyred in the Gaza Strip.

Record numbers indicate a doubling of violations and crimes committed by illegal armed settler gangs in their attacks against Palestinian towns, villages, camps and cities, which included attacks on homes and road closures, burning and cutting down trees and farms, including the noticeable increase in the number of olive trees destroyed by armed terrorist settler militias.

Local, Israeli and international reports also indicated a noticeable increase that the illegal settlers have increased the use of weapons and shooting live fire at Palestinian citizens, their towns and villages, noticing that their attacks took on a collective nature organized with the protection, support and participation of the occupation forces police and army, in a clear distribution and integration of roles, to implement their real aim of which is to steal more Palestinian land Deepening and expanding settlements, especially in and around East Jerusalem.

In a statement the Palestinian Ministry of foreign and expatriates affirms that the natural conclusions of all these figures and data refer to the following facts:

1. The current Israeli government, like its predecessors, is deeply involved in settlements, attacks, killings, demolitions, destruction and displacement, and continues its punitive measures against our people without any deterrent.

2. A clear absence of the role and response of the international community to these crimes and violations, which provides the space required for the occupation to commit more of these crimes.

3. The growing role of the settlers and their terrorist organizations within these crimes and its integration with the official role of the occupation institutions and its various apparatuses.

4. Despite the escalation of these numbers as record numbers for previous years, especially in the areas of detention and field executions, there is a state of determination and readiness among our people to deepen the struggle against the occupation and defend their just and legitimate national rights with all peaceful means.

5. The figures indicate that all age groups of the Palestinian people participate in the popular resistance, and they have also received their share suffering by shooting, arrests, injuries, and targeted killings.

Based on the foregoing, it is clear to the Ministry that the numbers of violations and crimes of the occupation and its settlers in 2022 will continue to rise as long as all those causes and causes exist without any change. At that time, these numbers will no longer be valuable, and we will find ourselves in a completely different stage of confrontation and resistance.
